As of September1, 2020, Scalair officially becomes a partner of OVHcloud, a neighboring company historically based in Roubaix... but above all the European leader in the cloud with over 380,000 servers in operation, spread across 31 datacenters on 4 continents!
As an "Advanced Partner", Scalair has access to Partner Academy training courses, enabling it to enhance its skills in OVHcloud solutions, and to an appropriate level of support so as to be able to offer its customers privileged assistance. In addition, Scalair's teams are in regular contact with OVHcloud engineers, giving them access to the latest technological innovations, which they can pass on to their customers.
Outsourcing and hosting
Thanks to this partnership, the Scalair team can now offer the integration and outsourcing of infrastructures partially or fully hosted by OVHcloud, as part of the deployment of IS or applications in SaaS mode.
In addition to our sites in Paris, Lille and Valenciennes, where Scalair has its own machines, OVHcloud's global infrastructure, with its network (34 points of presence and 20 Tbps bandwidth) and highly scalable cloud resources (private and/or public cloud), will enable us to set up disaster recovery and business continuity plans with geographically distributed platforms, or to automate overflow to OVHcloud for our customers' peak periods.
Last but not least, this partnership opens up new possibilities for Scalair teams wishing to respond to tenders from major accounts for the design, integration and management of high-availability platforms, with OVHcloud providing them with the means to master the technological building blocks it develops.

NB: Scalair belongs to the Okto group, which brings together Vade Secure (leader in e-mail security) and OpenIO. The latter, publisher of an open source high-performance object storage solution, was acquired by OVHcloud at the beginning of the summer.
