How does SecureWAN work?
Connected directly to the corporate network and the Internet access point, SecureWAN provides a VPN service. Combined with cutting-edge technologies & proven protocols, it transparently encrypts and encapsulates all connections to your Scalair-hosted tools and applications.
What technologies does the offer rely on?
To develop the SecureWAN offering, Scalair drew on its experience of network technologies, already deployed on its own infrastructures. And one of the most modern protocols in terms of security and performance.
The extended Layer 2 network is based on a routing solution that perfectly implements the proven network protocols used on our infrastructures to extend the Scalair service.
SecureWAN enables the propagation of your networks directly onto our Scalair infrastructure, in the same way as a dedicated operator link, but via the Internet. Ideal for securing VM migration from your on-premises infrastructure to the Scalair Cloud.

The customer requires an interconnection between a corporate site and a Cloud platform hosted in France:
For various reasons (network complexity, budget, etc.), creating a private operator link is not suitable. Via SecureWAN and existing Internet access, it is possible to deploy an extended Layer 2 network and thus rapidly interconnect with Scalair and its services.
